"A BORICUA BORN IN CUBA" marks the first performance of Cuban singer-songwriter JUAN JOSÉ HERNÁNDEZ alongside his Orquesta San Juan Habana in the Sala René Marqués at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce. More than a concert, this production represents an artistic narrative that traverses the history of an immigrant composer who left Cuba with dreams and hope, and who found in Puerto Rico a home, an opportunity, and a community that believed in his talent.
